Chong Gallery x Jeeba - A collaboration that commemorates Jeeba's first solo exhibition, showcasing a collection of diverse images derived from passion projects and collaborative endeavours.

Jeeba is a London-based photographer and multi-disciplinary artist. Her work encompasses an exploration of documentary and editorial photography that depicts a multi-cultural appreciation for both street photography and curated fashion projects.

Jeeba's work reflects her cinematic influences as she tends to story-tell by documenting London's skate scene, music artists particularly in the Drill and Hip Hop genre as well as emerging fashion brands.

Jeeba's use of analogue mediums gives a nostalgic feel to her work. This quality is further emphasised by the composition of her imagery, in particular her portraits. Deadpan direct gazes, lost-in-thought expressions and fleeting motions; Jeeba's photography also compels a strong sense of timelessness, illustrated in the juxtaposition of her still and motional lens.

She studied photography at the University of Arts London and has since then been running her own creative freelance practice. During that time, she has worked with a number of notable brands and publications including Vogue, GQ, The Evening Standard Magazine, Louis Vuitton, Hypebeast, Complex, Manolo Blanhik, Spotify, The New York Times, TikTok, YUNG, Arsenal, Apple and many more.

Through her practice the photographer came to working closely with world-renowned artists as well, largely within the fashion and music industry. Some of her most recent projects have been focused on UK Rap & Drill, her clients including Ms Banks, Dutchavelli, OFB, Kojo Funds, Kenny Allstar, M Huncho, K Trap, Yung T & Bugsey and Rimzee.

Other notable creatives she has collaborated with include, Chickenshop Date, Miraa May, Mnelia, Bellah, Raye, Coi Leray, NSG, WSTRN, Knucks, Kali Claire, Imani Williams, Henrie, Young MA, Rasharn Powell, Jords, CTRL, Max Richter.

As of latest, Jeeba has increasingly been finding herself running workshops and seminars for young people interested in art, photography and the creative industry. Creating spaces that allow young women and girls to explore the arts and access opportunities within the creative industry through workshops and mentorship.
